The IB Program is a two year course. Grades are based on assessment of overall coursework and effort on a 1-7 IB Scale.

A general course outline for the two years is as follows:

Year 1 (11th Grade)
Introduction to Historiography - 2 weeks
World War One - 9 weeks
Peacemaking, Peacekeeping and International Relations - 12 weeks
The Russian Revolutions - 8 weeks
Internal Assessment - 2 weeks (dispersed throughout)

Year 2 (12th Grade)
Internal Assessment - 1 week (dispersed throughout) - DUE EARLY NOVEMBER
The Second World War - 6 weeks
The Cold War - 12 Weeks
Fascism versus Communism, Case studies in Single Party State Leadership - 8 weeks
Mock Examination - 2 weeks
Exam Preparation and Review - 4 weeks
